Assisted living for single women with children who had to flee violence in the family

As part of this project, we were able to support Roma women with their children in Romania by paying the rent for flats. Here, the women and their children found protection from domestic violence. The children and women, some of whom were severely traumatised, were able to recover in safety with the help of our project partners; children were reintegrated into schools and their mothers were supported with visits to the doctor and everyday errands. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Kinderhilfe für Siebenbürgen e. V. once again for the great cooperation and the dedicated work on site!
