Pak Seuang Primary School
Construction of a new school building with four classrooms
Location: Pak Seuang, Laos
Local project partner: Child’s Dream Association
Pak Seuang Primary School currently provides education to 252 children from Pak Seuang and surrounding villages. Parts of the school buildings date back to 1971 and are now severely deteriorated. Several classrooms have already been closed due to the risk of collapse, forcing students and teachers to continue lessons under overcrowded and unsafe conditions.
Together with Child’s Dream Association, the Tarek Mamisch Foundation is supporting the construction of a new school building with four fully equipped classrooms and four new gender-separated toilet facilities. The project aims to provide a safe, healthy and supportive learning environment and to improve educational opportunities for children in the long term.
The project is implemented by the experienced NGO Child’s Dream Association, which has been successfully carrying out education projects across Southeast Asia for many years. The organisation is responsible for planning, construction management, quality control and post-construction monitoring. The local community is actively involved in the building process to strengthen ownership, responsibility and sustainability.
Estimated amount of funding in 2026: 67,081 US-Dollars
