I am an entrepreneur and father of four wonderful daughters. Through my multifaceted life as an employer and entrepreneur, I have always been in contact with people from various cultures. My professionl aendeavors have not only brought me prosperity, but have also repeatedly confronted me with the suffering and misery in our world. I have Syrian roots. Ever since the outbreak of the civil war in Syria in 2011, I have known that I should try to do more … than ‘just’ be a successful businessman. I wanted to give back something of what I was allowed to achieve, to fulfill my personal responsibility to society. When I was given the opportunity to help refugees through a local contact, it marked the beginning of my humanitarian work. We implemented our first projects through the Mamisch hilft e. V. association, which was merged into the Tarek Mamisch Foundation. Run together with my daughters, this foundation is a project that is truly close to my heart. With it, we have created the basis for continuing our work sustainably for generations to come. I hope that we can gain your trust for this.
