The old wooden building, constructed in 2004, became severely damaged after more than 20 years of use and posed a safety risk for students and teachers. Together with the Child\u2019s Dream Association, the Tarek Mamisch Foundation funded the construction of a new school building with five classrooms and four new toilet facilities to provide the children with a safe and child-friendly learning environment once again.<\/p>\n<p>The project was implemented by the experienced NGO Child\u2019s Dream Association, which has been successfully carrying out educational projects across Southeast Asia for many years. The organization was responsible for planning, construction management, quality control and post-completion monitoring.
